Your email and sign-in codes

Enter your email and a sign-in code to create an account or sign in. A third-party email provider sends the code to your email. We store a protected version that lets us check the code without keeping the original code. We limit how often codes can be requested or checked. Each code expires after ten minutes and works once. Cookies keep you signed in; a separate temporary cookie connects the code request to your browser. A sign-in security provider checks your browser when our pages load and receives each sign-in attempt (your email, IP address and browser) to block abuse and keep a sign-in log.

HuggerHustle never connects to or reads your inbox. Signing in does not give permission to send introductions for your business. We do not offer sign-in through other accounts. Sign-in emails are free and do not count toward your free meetings or subscription.

What the service uses

HuggerHustle uses the business information you provide, documents you upload, and public business sources. We store your campaigns and email plans, researched contacts, drafts, sent-email records, replies to our introductions, preferences, and records of your free meetings and subscription. Sending may be closed while we set up or check our sending service.

Research and service providers

The research and AI services we use process the business information you share to understand what you offer and find potential customers. Third-party providers research websites, run the AI models that process information, read text from uploaded PDFs, process purchases, and send and receive email. A monitoring provider records the requests we send to the AI models, and their replies, so we can check the quality of research. HuggerHustle does not receive or store your full card number. A third-party email provider sends sign-in codes and notices about replies; another sends the introductions, follow-ups and connecting emails we write for you from HuggerHustle’s own email address, and receives the replies to them.

Business and message data is used to provide your requested features. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used by HuggerHustle to train general-purpose AI models. When an AI model processes text, we require no data collection and zero data retention for that request. People may access your data only to provide support you request, investigate security issues, or meet applicable legal requirements.

Sending and reply handling

HuggerHustle sends introductions from its own email address, on your behalf, within the limits you approve. Each one names your business and its mailing address. Replies come to HuggerHustle’s own mailboxes. We read the replies to our introductions there, including requests to stop emails and notices that an email could not be delivered, and show them in your account.

A first introduction may contain a tiny image that tells us whether it was opened, recorded in our analytics provider without the recipient’s address. We leave it out of introductions to businesses we find in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or California, and out of every later email. Links in the emails we send you are tagged with the email they came from.

When someone who replied wants to meet, we share your name and account email with that business only once you choose or offer a time, in the calendar invitation and the email confirming it, or in one email connecting you both, with you CC’d, when no time fits or you ask us to. After that, the conversation continues between you and them, outside HuggerHustle. We never connect to or read your own inbox.

Business documents and research

Documents and web pages provide information. They cannot give permission to send emails, change who we contact, or override your settings. The business information you first provide is encrypted in storage. Information drawn from it, research about potential customers, and email content are stored in your account so you can review and continue your work. Public information about the businesses research finds, such as their names, websites and the web pages we read, is also kept to help later campaigns, including other owners’, and stays after you delete your account. It never includes your documents or your own description.

Your choices

You can sign out anytime, and contact support to delete your account. When sending is available, you can pause it or turn off optional follow-ups. Deleting your account removes your campaigns and emails and your signed-in sessions. We may keep limited records of transactions, free-trial use, security issues, and requests to stop emails. These help us resolve payments, prevent repeat free allowances, and respect requests not to be contacted.

Stopping emails and keeping records

Recipients can use the stop-emails link in an introduction or reply asking to stop. We keep a record so HuggerHustle does not contact them again for any business, and we delete the web pages we saved from their website. We keep active account content so you can continue your campaigns and email plans until you delete that content or your account. Contact support to request access to your data, corrections, or help deleting it.

Analytics and cookies

An analytics provider records how HuggerHustle pages are used: the pages you visit, what you click, the link that brought you there, and errors the page hits. It sets its own cookie to tell visits apart. We use this to find and fix problems and to see which emails people act on. Essential cookies protect sign-in and keep you signed in.
